MEMBERSHIP FEES
Dues: $30 annually for single membership - $40 annually for double membership.
Dues are to be paid in full by the end of May each year. Most members pay their dues upon arrival or at the end of the general club meeting in May.

CLUB MEETINGS
Board meetings are held on the first Thursday of each month and all members are welcome to attend. General meetings are normally held on the third Thursday of each month unless otherwise specified. We usually skip the General meeting in December since we have a Christmas party that month. (See the Events Calendar for dates, times and locations of the club meetings.)

CLUB ACTIVITY COSTS
Club activities include scuba diving trips, sight seeing trips, campouts, barbeques, parties, dinners, get-togethers, club meetings, etc.  All activities are paid for by the club and the members. Member costs vary with each activity and are always announced at the general meetings, but are usually much less than non-members would pay for the same activities. (This is one of the benefits of club membership!)

BOARD MEMBERS AND OFFICERS
We currently have four officers... President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Secretary... and six board members. A minimum of one year membership is required to become a board member, and board membership is required for election to office. (See E-mail Contacts for board names and contact information)

CLUB FUNDRAISERS
Fireworks:  Each year we operate at least one fireworks stand here in Bakersfield and we sell as many fireworks as possible! This is our main fundraiser. The more fireworks we sell, the more fun we can have the rest of the year!
The firework stands are worked by our club members on a volunteer basis. Those who volunteer their time and work at least one shift get to attend the club's 4th of July party for free!
Club logo shirts: We sell club logo T-shirts, polo shirts and sweatshirts.
